I have felt a calling to do mission work and I have been waiting for an opportunity; it has finally come. I am very surprised and glad that God has brought this opportunity to me! This blog is a journal of my time spent serving the Lord in LaCroix, Haiti, January 30-February 6, 2010
Romans 12:9-13 |
Love must be sincere. Hate what is evil; cling to what is good.Be devoted to one another in brotherly love. Honor one another above yourselves.Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor, serving the Lord.Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer.Share with God's people who are in need. Practice hospitality. |
Ian, Glad you had a fulfilly trip. I went to the mission 11 years ago.Much has changed and improved since then. The clinic was just being finished and had not opened yet.
ReplyDeleteHi Ian,
ReplyDeleteThanks for your blog. My husband and I just got aquainted with the Friends of Haiti Mission Group in November. We prepared letters that were distributed to the students at Lacroix. A few of mine were given to the teachers there. One teacher, Teacher Atanes Faustin, wrote me a nice note. Unfortunately I haven't been able to contact him. The email address he gave me keeps being returned. By chance would you have met him during your trip? I was just wondering if he was OK. K. McFarland
